Mayor Caoagdan, Makilala-elected officials take oath of office

DSC_1293 (2)Makilala Mayor Rudy S Caoagdan took his oath of office on Monday, June 13, 2016 followed thereafter by Vice Mayor Ricky Cua and members of Sanguniang Bayan of Makilala in separate oath taking ceremonies in their respective offices.

According to Mayor Caoagdan, the elected officials agreed and opted to have a simple oath taking ceremony to symbolize the seriousness of their team in taking their mandate as elected officials in giving priority in the delivery of basic services to the community.

Mayor Caoagdan urged the department heads and employees as witnesses on the solemn occasion to revisit the value of their existence in the executive branch and be reminded of the oath taken as responsible government officials and employees.

“As elected officials, this occasion is a constitutional renewal of the trust and confidence of our people and the accountability bestowed upon us in serving our constituents well,” Mayor Caoagdan said.

Mayor Caoagdan conveyed to the department heads that the success of his administration depends on them especially in the implementation and execution of the plans and programs in the executive agenda as approved by the Sanguniang Bayan of the services needed by the people.

IMG_9580 (2)Mayor Caoagdan expressed his appreciation toward the support of the department heads in their commitment to fulfil their winning goals as planned during the program and project activity review last month held in Baguio City.

“Am happy that you are with me as witnesses on this memorable occasion as I took my oath as the chief executive of the municipality being on my last term as your Mayor,” Mayor Caoagdan added.

The oath taking was officiated by Presiding Judge Jose T Tabosares of Branch 23, 12 Judicial Region, Kidapawan City and were witnessed by local government unit (LGU) department heads and employees
