Mayor Caoagdan rounds courtesy call to all barangays of Makilala

DSC_0284As a normal tradition, at the beginning of the year municipal and barangay officials pays courtesy call to the local chief executive of the municipality or the province.

Mayor Rudy Caoagdan broke this tradition by reversing the method as he himself pays the courtesy call to the barangay local government and purok officials having a breakfast and consultation meetings with them.

Mayor Caoagdan said that his approach of courtesy call is his way of expressing gratitude to the unifying support of the barangay officials and leaders to the local government unit of Makilala.

Mayor Caoagdan added that the progress and development of Makilala manifest the collective and collaborative efforts of all officials in the aspirations of answering the need and delivering the basic services to the community.

During the meeting, Mayor Caoagdan highlighted the different projects implemented on agriculture, economic, health and social services, and elaborated the good partnership and support of North Cotabato Governor Lala Taliño-Mendoza in implementing infrastructure projects in the different barangays of Makilala.

Mayor Caoagdan said that the establishment of the Makilala Institute of Science and Technology through the municipal ordinance no: 275 -2014 by members of the Sanguniang Bayan of Makilala displays the collective leadership of the executive and legislative branch of the Local government unit  towards a shared aspiration in the progress and development of Makilala.

Mayor Caoagdan also shared the leadership’s directions and future plans for Makilala.

Mayor Caoagdan was accompanied by Vice Mayor Ricky Cua and members of the Sanguniang Bayan during the breakfast meetings and consultations.
